Crazy Ducks Weekly Update 6/5
Happy Friday, Crazy Ducks! Looking ahead to next week...
- FCC hosts Brookberry next Tuesday, June 9; deadline to declare your swimmer is Sunday, June 7.
- City Meet is on Friday, June 19; deadline to declare your swimmer is June 9.
Home Meet June 9th vs Brookberry
The Crazy Ducks host the Brookberry Fins at home on Tuesday, June 9th at 5:30pm. There are just over 40 swimmers who have not been declared as attending or not attending. The deadline to declare your swimmer is Sunday, June 7th by 5pm.
We are still in need of 2 volunteers: one 7-8 Girls Helper (while meet) and one Scorer (1st half). Sign up using the link above. As a reminder, we expect each family to volunteer for at least 4 volunteer shifts. Many of our parents cover even more than that, and we can't thank you enough!

City Meet Deadline Approaching

Our goal is to have at least 50 swimmers! City Meet is a full day event with 10 and under swimmers competing in the morning and 11 and older in the afternoon. We will register all Cray Ducks together by the June 10 deadline, so let us know if your swimmer is attending City Meet via SwimTopia by 5pm on Tuesday, June 9: City Meet Registration

Update on Swimmer Gear and Shirts
Your swim team registration includes a team swim cap and t-shirt (if you registered before April 28). Most swimmers picked up their gear bags (no shirts) at our Waterford meet. If you did not, see Coach Doug at practice to get your bag. It is pretty cool and includes your swim cap, car magnet, 2026 Crazy Ducks bag tag, and a car flag! Shirts are in and being sorted today! Coach Doug and his coaching team will be ready to distribute shirts at practices on Monday 6/8.
Optional team suits, other equipment and fan gear can be purchased directly from the FCC Team Site on SwimOutlet.
Coupons and Ribbons from Waterford can be picked up
Coupons and ribbons from the Waterford meet are ready to be picked up. They are in the welcome hut at the pool. You can pick these up anytime during regular pool hours. Swimmers receive one coupon for each regular meet that is good for a kids meal out at the pool snack bar. Ribbons are awarded as follows: 1st through 4th place for swimmers 12 and under, Participation for swimmers 10 and under. We will do our best to have ribbons and coupons ready by the Friday morning after each meet.
