Swim Meet To Do List
Before the Meet
- home team rep should always send a welcome email to the visiting team rep with any details/rules that the other team needs to know (parking, arrival time, tent policy, body marking etc…)
- visiting team coach should send entry file to home team by deadline
- home team coach should contact visiting team coach to be sure everyone is on the same page with entry limits, deadlines and warm up time
- confirm lifeguards for the meet
- check/print volunteer spot – assign timers to lanes
Meet Day Setup
- print heat sheets
- coaches heat sheet notebooks
- one heat sheet copied on one side only for referee
- check sound system
- charge starter
- hang signs on fence/spirit signs
- set out Duckling blankets
- event number board
- clipboards with DQ slips and pens
- clipboards with timer sheets, watches, and pens
- visiting pool should provide 6 watches for their timers
- nametags
- timers - 14
- runners - 2
- referee - 1
- stroke judges - 2
- starter - 1

- scorer’s table - 2 baskets for dq slips, stapler, printer, and laptop
